Responsibilities/Job description:
- Create lesson plans that are engaging and educational to teach students subjects, such as reading, science, and math, etc

Location: Crown Heights School (CHS) & AAPCARE, Adadientem-Ejisu Juaben District, Ghana
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional School Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and school property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of students, staff, visitors, customers, and other persons to maintain security on the premises.
- Patrol the school premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Ensure that all safety and security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarms, are operational at all times.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services as needed.
- Provide guidance and support during emergency situations, including fire drills and lockdowns.
- Conduct periodic safety drills and educate students and staff on security procedures.
- Assist in maintaining order during school events and activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Senior High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement service is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
- Physical fitness and the ability to patrol the school premises regularly.
- Basic first aid training is an advantage.
