AAPCare Services

  1. Preventive Health:
Our preventive care focuses on strategies and interventions aimed at preventing diseases and promoting overall well-being. This includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, screenings for various conditions (e.g., cancer screenings, blood pressure checks, vital signs check), health education on healthy lifestyle choices (e.g., diet, exercise), and counseling on risk factor reduction (e.g., smoking cessation, alcohol moderation). Our preventive health services are provided by physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and public health educators.
  2. Primary Care:
Our primary care involves comprehensive and continuous care provided by AAPCare physicians, physician assistants, and nurses. Our primary care encompasses a wide range of services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, managing ongoing health conditions, preventive care, health promotion, patient education, and coordination of care with specialists when needed. AAPCare primary care providers also manage referrals and coordinate care across different healthcare settings.
  3. Laboratory:
We provide diagnostic and analytical testing of various specimens such as blood, urine, tissues, and other bodily fluids. Our medical laboratory scientists and technicians perform tests to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of diseases and conditions. These tests may include blood tests (e.g., complete blood count, cholesterol levels), urine analysis, microbiology cultures, and imaging studies (e.g., X-rays, MRIs).
  4. Pharmacy:
Our pharmacy services involve dispensing and management of medications to optimize patient outcomes. We provide medication counseling, monitoring for drug interactions and adverse effects, and collaborate with healthcare providers on medication management plans. AAPCare provides medication therapy management, patient education on medication adherence and potential side effects, and medication reconciliation to prevent medication errors.
  5. Health Education:
Our health education involves providing individuals and communities with information, resources, and skills to promote health and prevent illness. We develop and deliver health education programs and initiatives on various topics such as nutrition, physical activity, chronic disease management, mental health, sexual health, substance abuse prevention, and injury prevention. Our health education is provided in various settings, including schools, workplaces, community centers, and healthcare facilities, the media space, and AAPCare aims to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
